Amalur is an Italian haute-cuisine restaurant with a unique twist, located in a chic finca in Santa Gertrudis.

This iconic dining destination has been delighting visitors for over four decades, having opened its doors in 1981.

Every detail has been carefully considered in the evolution of Amalur, making it a must-visit culinary spot.

AMALUR

The restaurant boasts a fresh, open terrace in the summer, which is protected by glass walls during the winter. Amalur is open all year round for lunch and dinner. During our visit, we had dinner around Christmas, and the atmosphere and decor were stunning.

The restaurant's philosophy of using only the freshest local produce available is explained in a beautifully handwritten menu.

Highly experienced chef Massimo Larosa, who has trained in Michelin-starred kitchens such as San Domenico, d'Arzak, and El Celler de Can Roca, along with his talented cohort, Antonio Borriello, whose culinary journey includes stints at Michelin-starred Leoni, plus Piccola Cucina, Casa Tu Miami, and the Miami Four Seasons Hotel, are responsible for the creative, contemporary, and colourful dishes that come out of the Amalur kitchen. These dishes are not only visually exquisite but also taste divine.
